About NASCIB

National Association of Small and Cottage Industries of Bangladesh (NASCIB), a trade association formed to highlight MSME (Micro, Small, Medium) and Cottage Industries issues and work for the development of the MSME sector of the country. The Micro, Small, Medium (MSME) and Cottage Industry operation in Bangladesh provide job opportunities for 89% of the population both in the urban and rural areas. NASCIB is the Apex Trade Organization of Micro, Small, Medium (MSME) and Cottage Industrial entrepreneurs having more than 20,000 direct members and 150,000 indirect/associate members (through district committees). Guided by its constitution, NASCIB with a view to establish self-sustained and profitable micro, small and cottage industries and build a prosperous Bangladesh through progress and economic empowerment of women. NASCIB concentrates on organizing its activities countrywide, operating in all the 54 Districts through the committees in each of the Districts of Bangladesh to reach the targeted index of Sustainable Development Foal (SDG) by 2030 under the guidance of United Nations and the Bangladesh Government. We represent national cross-sectoral CMSME`s, district branches, and associate members. We speak on behalf of the 7.8 million CMSME`s in Bangladesh which employs almost 21 million people. We are a non-profit seeking and non-partisan organization. These enterprises play a decisive role in the national economy and society, are drivers of innovation, and ensure social and regional stability.
